At 270-280 kph IAS, the F4 climbs nearly as well as a G2 up to 4000m. The G2 out-paces it beyond 4000m. Overall, the difference between 270kph (best climb speed for 109's, at least F4 and G2) and around 300kph IAS isn't that large, but you lose quite a bit of climb rate below 270kph, so I usually climb between 280 and 290 so I'm not on the edge of dropping below 270ish.

A reserve Russian aircraft, outturns almost all mid tier aircraft, due to its biplanes, and with a bit of luck its machine guns can kill Spitfire pilots or LaGG-3 planes.
